SAFE Federal Credit Union was featured during Sunday’s telecast of the Super Bowl in an ad spot that featured the work that the company does in the community.
It was one of three ads SAFE created to air locally on WACH during the game, as members were given the opportunity to vote for the best one to run.
“The winning ad really was indicative of the reason for this contest. Members who commented told us it made them realize all the important reasons why they belong to SAFE. It clearly connected with our membership base.” said Toby Hayes, vice president of marketing.
Over 2,300 people voted online for the ad, with “Our Community” getting 43% of the vote.
Headquartered in Sumter, SAFE serves 108,000 members through 20 branches in eight counties in the Midlands.
