More than 100 employers are expected to take part in the 4th annual Palmetto State Job Fair being held Wednesday, March 15, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center at 1101 Lincoln St.
The event is devoted to professional job seekers and is free and open to the public. Job seekers are asked to have resumes ready and dressed to interview.
The event is being hosted by ECPI University Columbia campus along with a coalition of community organizations including area Chambers of Commerce, the South Carolina Department of Employment and Workforce, Army Community Service, IT-ology, SC Cyber, and Alpha Media.
“For our participating employers, this has become a much-anticipated event,” says ECPI University Columbia Campus President Jim Rund. “Working together, we are having a profound effect on the economic development of the region and potentially bettering the lives of our 2,000+ job seekers.”
