The Greater Blythewood Chamber of Commerce plans to open the town's first co-working space in the organization’s new office at 428-4 McNulty St.

The grand opening and ribbon-cutting will take place April 18 during the chamber's monthly after-hours networking event, Blythewood After Five, from 5:30-7 p.m.

In a news release, the chamber noted that many independent professionals need desk space with Wi-Fi, printer, conference room and coffee but aren’t interested in finding and leasing their own office.

Membership rates are:

  • Day Pass, $20.
  • 8-Day Grab-a-Desk Package, $99 per month. Use any 8 days of the month (can be carried forward for up to three months).
  • 12-Day Grab-a-Desk Package, $139 per month. Use any 12 days of the month (can be carried forward for up to three months).
  • Full Month Grab-a-Desk Package, $199 per month. Desk/workspace available anytime during month.
  • Full Month Grab-a-Desk Dedicated Package, $299 per month. Dedicated desk/workspace no one else can use.

All rates include use of the conference room, printer, and Wi-Fi. More information is available at the chamber’s website.
