CMLS plans to move from its present downtown location at 1905 Gadsden St., near the Governor’s Mansion, on or around July, the release added.
The new building, which CMLS purchased from 1220 Pulaski Inc. for $864,000, will offer a more central location for the organization’s members and staff, and provide room for growth as well as more space to conduct training and hold large meetings, the release said.
CMLS is a member-owned organization that has been facilitating the listing and sale of real estate in the Midlands for more than 35 years. It supports more than 400 companies and 2,500 agents.
NAI Avant senior brokers Paul Hartley and Roger Winn, with assistance from broker Paul Paschal, represented CMLS in the transaction.
