Frost joins SC Power Team to lead community preparedness efforts

James Frost has joined the South Carolina Power Team as senior vice president. Frost, a registered professional engineer, will lead the team’s community preparedness and product development efforts.

FrostFrost previously worked for Columbia-based Alliance Consulting Engineers Inc. where he was a shareholder and vice president, responsible for a team of 20 plus employees, ranging from senior project managers to administrative staff and interns.

Frost has been involved with numerous projects in the SC Power Team's territory and throughout South Carolina, including the Phase II Site Readiness Fund (SRF) Initiative. The initiative includes analysis of more than 78 sites, of which one mega site and three large sites were selected for additional due diligence and potential purchase.

"With the addition of Jamie Frost, we are further enhancing our holistic offerings and comprehensive approach to economic development for Santee Cooper and the 20 electric cooperatives,” said James Chavez, president and CEO of SC Power Team. “Jamie's experience will be key as he leads our team's efforts to ensure we have inventory of market-ready sites across our system."
