Arthur State Bank Hires Experienced Commercial Banking Officer in Columbia, South Carolina

Arthur State Bank, a community bank with 18 local branches in South Carolina, is pleased to announce the hire of Ashley Rider as commercial banking officer for its Columbia, South Carolina, locations. Rider brings more than 25 years of industry experience.

A University of South Carolina graduate and Columbia native, Rider returns to the market after nearly 10 years working in Upstate South Carolina and Georgia. Most recently, Rider managed small business, retail and commercial banking services for First Citizens Bank. Prior to that, he was vice president of Civis Capital, assistant vice president of Regions Bank, commercial banker and branch manager at Carolina National Bank, and branch manager of SouthTrust Bank — all in the Midlands.
