Columbia Metropolitan Airport received more than 115 entries for its 2020-2021 Art in the Airport Program. The artists' works will be displayed for four-month periods beginning in October.
Columbia film producer wins documentary grant
Sherard Duvall won a grant from the Southern Documentary Fund for his exploration of Gullah Geechee culture. Saltwata Vibes: Sankofa Seeds from Geechee Roots is one of 20 selected projects which will receive awards totaling $150,000.

Cottontown Art Crawl coming in March

Martha Brim will spend 4 months developing community programs and sharing knowledge with Richland Library main branch patrons. Brim has been a dance professor at Columbia College for nearly 35 years.

Horror and sci-fi exhibit to explore art, fear
An exhibition featuring 135 pieces from the extensive collection of Metallica guitarist Kirk Hammett will make the final stop of an international tour at the Columbia Museum of Art from Feb. 15 through May 17.
