Cayce seeking public input for 2020 comprehensive plan

Listen to this articleThe city of Cayce will hold its second public input session regarding its 2020 comprehensive plan on Feb. 25.
Residents and business owners are invited to the meeting at the Lexington Two Innovation Center at 509 Bulldog Blvd. A presentation will begin at 6:30 p.m., with public input to follow.
Every 10 years, local governments are mandated to prepare a plan that outlines a long-range vision for growth. Cayce’s plan will inform decision-making and address citizen needs going forward, according to a news release from the city.
Goals of the plan include: supporting the city’s diverse population; meeting future housing needs; promoting active living; strengthening the economy through continued revitalization efforts; and preserving and protecting Cayce’s natural resources.
