Columbia-area customers can support local schools during Circle K’s annual Fueling Our Schools fundraising campaign.

Three Midlands Circle K stores will donate 10 cents of every gallon of fuel purchased on April 19 to a participating school. Year-round, the company donates one cent from every gallon sold at specially marked pumps to local schools, up to $2,000 per school.

The campaign has raised nearly $900,000 to date, according to a news release. More than 350 Circle K stores across North America participated in the campaign last year.

In the Midlands, contributions from the Circle K location at 10282 Two Notch Road will benefit Spring Valley High School. Contributions from the store at 680 Pine Ridge Road in West Columbia will benefit Pine Ridge Middle School, while contributions from the location at 484 Pinewood Road in Sumter will benefit Sumter High School.
