Columbia IT franchise owner new entrepreneur-in-residence

Veteran area businessman Kimico Myers, owner and president of TeamLogic IT- Columbia, is Richland County Library’s new entrepreneur-in-residence.

Myers has more than 25 years of business experience and a master’s of business administration from the University of South Carolina Darla Moore School of Business. Also the vice chair of the Midlands chapter of the Service Core of Retired Executives, Myers has worked with organizations ranging from 10 to more than 300,000 employees. He launched his TeamLogic IT franchise in 2015.

Myers’ residency at the library will run through May. He will have weekly office hours at the library’s main branch at 1431 Assembly St. to answer questions and share knowledge. Online registration is available for the one-on-one sessions.

Myers will hold a meet-and-greet today, his first day in his new position, at the main branch from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m.

Richland Library’s entrepreneur-in-residence program was created in 2018 as part of a $500,000 grant awarded through the Google Impact Challenge.
