Columbia law firm names new partner

A Columbia law firm has added a new partner to its roster.

Mickle & Bass Law Firm announced that Jamie Davidson has been made a partner in the firm.

Davidson is a 2013 graduate of the University of South Carolina School of Law. While in law school, he received a CALI Award for his work in connection with the Comparative Employment Discrimination Seminar, according to a news release.

Davidson was admitted to the South Carolina Bar in 2013 and, before joining Mickle & Bass Law Firm, he clerked for the Hon. J. Ernest Kinard Jr., a resident circuit judge of the 5th Judicial Circuit, according to the release.

As an attorney at Mickle & Bass Law Firm, Davidson draws on his experience in the courtroom to help the injured workers of South Carolina.

“I’m grateful to be named partner at this prestigious firm, and I’m eager to continue working to help the people of South Carolina” he said in the release.

Mickle & Bass Law Firm was founded by Ann Mickle and Alan Bass in 2008, according to the release. Both founders served six-year terms as South Carolina Workers’ Compensation Commissioners and, in addition to representing workers injured on the job, the firm also handles cases involving slip and fall accidents; automobile wrecks; truck accidents; wrongful death claims; premises liability; nursing home abuse and neglect cases; and Social Security disability claims.

Mickle & Bass has three fully staffed locations in Columbia, Rock Hill and Myrtle Beach.
