Columbia physical therapy practice to open second location

A Columbia physical therapy practice will be opening a second location in Elgin.

Ascent Total Performance recently leased a 1,450-square-foot space at 550 Spears Creek Church Road in Elgin. The new space will allow the practice to increase its client base in the rapidly growing northeast Columbia area, according to a news release.

Colliers South Carolina’s Rox Pollard and John Gressette represented Ascent in the lease of the space.

Ascent Total Performance is a physical therapy practice that creates unique, tailor-made recovery plans that cater specifically to each client’s needs and conditions, according to the release.  

“We are excited to bring our highly effective and unique approach of one-on-one, expert-level physical therapy to the northeast Columbia community,” said Jim Floyd, owner of Ascent Total Performance.

The practice currently operates another location at 2829 Millwood Ave. in Columbia.

Pollard is vice president and director of retail services at Colliers specializing in the sale, leasing and development consultation of retail properties across the state. Gressette is a brokerage associated working with tenants, landlords, sellers and purchasers to lease, purchase and sell retail properties of all sizes.
