Is the Charleston Area Becoming the Next Las Vegas for Industry Conventions?
The Experience, a national conference and exhibition for cleaning, restoration, and indoor air quality professionals, will take place the week of April 18, 2021, with pre- and post-conference events.

Abita, LA, April 11, 2021 – “Industry conventions the caliber of The Experience are generally held in destination locations such as Las Vegas that are centrally located with ease of access from anywhere in the country,” states Doug Hoffman, executive director of the National Organization of Remediators and Mold Inspectors (NORMI). “The Charleston location is new for The Experience and conveniently places the conference between the deep South and the NE, providing an opportunity for people to have ease of travel and also experience Southern charm.”
Hoffman is one of several featured industry experts presenting at The Experience 2021 Conference and Exhibition onsite at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Charleston Airport Hotel & Convention Center. The conference kicks off on Sunday, April 18, 2021, with a pre-conference full-day training taught by Hoffman that provides students the opportunity to become a NORMI Certified Sanitizing Professional (NCSP). Course attendees who complete the certification process for their NCSP will help meet the increased need nationwide for properly trained and certified sanitizing professionals.
Conference attendees will be coming from all over the country. This industry show delivers both instructional procedures, classroom education and hands-on demonstrations of the latest technology, equipment, tools, and products for professionals in the cleaning, restoration, and indoor air quality industries. An exhibition hall with vendor booths will be open between seminars for participants to get a close-up look at the high-tech equipment and hear more details on the research and technology.
