Fast-paced April event to match suppliers with employers

Listen to this articleBusinesses in Richland and Lexington counties can connect with other businesses and establish supplier relationships at the Business-2-Business Supplier Matchmaker Event to be held April 23 at the Columbia Metropolitan Convention Center.
The event is designed to connect companies with large employers and original equipment manufacturers in a format that resembles speed dating sessions, according to a news release from Richland County.
Suppliers will be pre-selected by participating large employers and OEMs for 10-minute, one-on-one meetings to determine if those companies would be a match for future business.
In the inaugural 2019 event, companies including Jushi USA, Dominion Energy, Flex and CMC Steel participated.
The meetings will be held from 1 until 4 p.m. and will be followed by a networking reception at 5 p.m. The event is free, but registration is required by Feb. 28.
