Fireflies single-game tickets go on sale Thursday

Single-game tickets for the 2020 Columbia Fireflies season go on sale Thursday at 10 a.m.

Tickets can be purchased at the Fireflies box office at Segra Park, by calling 803-726-HITS or online at FirefliesTickets.com.

The Fireflies, the Class A affiliate of the New York Mets, open their fifth season at Segra Park on April 9. That game will be the first of 12 Budweiser Thirsty Thursdays and include a 2020 magnet schedule giveaway.

“Our team has really put together an incredible 2020 season for our community,” Fireflies team president John Katz said in a news release. “Opening Night is right around the corner, and we’re looking forward to a great crowd to welcome the boys of summer back to town. If fans can’t celebrate Opening Night with us on April 9th, we know that every night at Segra Park is Opening Night for someone, and our team will make each night memorable.”

Fans who purchase tickets at the Fireflies box office on Thursday between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. will be treated to a free hot dog.

The Fireflies’ 2020 schedule also includes 21 post-game fireworks show and six chances for canine fans to cheer on the team at Trash the Poop Wag-Along Wednesdays.
