An April 15 online forum hosted by the Folks Center for International Business at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business will address post-pandemic business supply chain issues.

The forum will be led by Wharton School management professor John Paul MacDuffie, who is also the director of the Program on Vehicle and Mobility Innovation at Wharton’s Mack Institute for Innovation Management. MacDuffie will discuss how companies can develop supply chain continuation capabilities that can withstand and improve responses to disasters.

The free forum, which will begin at 4 p.m. and end at 5:15 p.m., will also explore the successful strategies of firms that have improved productivity through a focus on risk management and scope.

MacDuffie will be joined by executives and Folks Center Global Advisory Board members Al Lanctot, executive director of global accounts North America at Lenovo, and Romaine Seguin, president of global freight forwarding at UPS, for a question-and-answer session after his talk.

The forum is sponsored by The Rachel and Jim Hodges Fund and held in collaboration with the Operations and Supply Chain Center and the Risk Management and Insurance Center at the Moore School of Business. Online registration is available.
