The 24-hour effort is set to begin Thursday, Oct. 23. The creative program, which offers services on a pro bono basis, is in its 18th year.
The programs selected in the latest edition are Able South Carolina, Death Penalty Resources and Defense Center, Epworth Children’s Home, Handicapped Athletes Learning to Enjoy Riding - HALTER, Healing Icons, Global Pencil Project, Sexual Trauma Services of the Midlands and The Therapy Place.
“We are delighted to be able to donate our time and services to these eight deserving organizations,” said Teresa Coles, CreateAthon co-founder and senior partner and brand strategist at Riggs.
“We’re incredibly humbled as we review the CreateAthon applications each year and are reminded of the significant needs that exist in our community,” she said. “Our mission through CreateAthon is to help these organizations strengthen their communications in a way that will move their work forward.”
