The S.C. Angel Network and Capital Angels will host a “How to Pitch Investors” workshop next month, where participants will discover what investors look for when deciding whether to contribute to their companies.
The event, put on as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week, will be held Wednesday, Nov. 18 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. in the IT_oLogy auditorium.
Charlie Banks, managing director of the Capital Angels and co-founder of the S.C. Angel Network, will lead the event. Joining him will be Matt Dunbar, managing director of Greenville’s Upstate Carolina Angel Network and co-founder of SCAN and board member of the Angel Capital Association. The entrepreneurship expects will work with participants to help them nail their pitch for future investment meetings.
“Understanding how to pitch your business to investors is an absolutely critical skill for any current or future entrepreneur,” Banks said. “This workshop will take a deep dive into exactly what investors are looking for when determining whether to invest in a company.”
