Coastal Carolina National Bank celebrates new location

Coastal Carolina National Bank is celebrating the official grand opening of its new location in Five Points on Wednesday.

Food, prizes and account incentives will be available following a 10 a.m. ribbon-cutting ceremony. Visitors can register to win a MacBook pro, Apple iPad, and a $150 Visa gift card.

The bank relocated in April from its Assembly Street location to a larger site less than two miles away at 1940 Blossom St. Grand opening festivities were postponed until pandemic-related restrictions on public gatherings eased, according to a news release from the Five Points Association.

“CCNB is fortunate to have identified and acquired a landmark Five Points location to better serve the needs of our customers,” Gene Massey, vice president and branch manager, said in the release. “Our new branch offers more conveniences such as drive-thru teller service, a drive-up ATM, night depository and ample parking.”

The Myrtle Beach-headquartered bank has seven full-service branches throughout South Carolina and a loan production office in Spartanburg.

“The Five Points Association is very excited to have CCNB here in our village,” Steven Cook, association president, said. “To attract a banking institution of CCNB’s caliber to Five Points just further illustrates how great of a district this is to do business.”

The grand opening festivities will end at 3 p.m.
