The COVID-19 resource site accelerate.sc.gov is ready to do business. S.C. Gov. Henry McMaster announced the launch on Tuesday.

The website will direct users how to file for unemployment, while also leading them to new employment opportunities and information about the state’s revitalization efforts, according to a news release.

Businesses seeking high-demand goods, such as personal protective equipment as they bring employees back to work, will be connected to the state’s Emergency Supply Collaborative. Businesses also can verify their status through an inquiry form.

AccelerateSC is an all-encompassing, statewide effort to revitalize South Carolina’s economy while keeping our people safe,” McMaster said in the release. “This website is a critical component of that effort because it provides South Carolinians with real-time information about the state’s response to the coronavirus and how they can best help themselves and their loved ones through this challenging time.”

The S.C. Department of Administration created the website in collaboration with several other state agencies and will update the website soon with features such as social media engagement options and call center access, according to the release.
