Nominations are open for the Columbia Chamber of Commerce’s annual awards.
The eighth edition of the Columbia Impact Awards features two new categories: the Hospitality award and the Workforce Development award. These join the established roster of Diversity and Inclusion, Small Business of the Year and Golden Nail, which recognizes a business or property owner for exemplary contributions to the physical character of the Midlands through cosmetic or commercial means.
Nominations are due by Jan. 12, 2022, at 5 p.m.

Diversity and Inclusion award: celebrates a company’s efforts to implement and advocate for an inclusive and diverse work environment.
Small Business of the Year award: highlights the contributions of a business with no more than 50 staff members to the chamber and the community.
Golden Nail award: recognizes an organization’s contributions to the physical character of the Midlands during the previous calendar year.
Hospitality award: recognizes hospitality industry partners whose efforts help make Columbia a world-class place to live, work and visit.
Workforce Development award: honors the innovative strategies implemented by partners to create and retain a dynamic workforce within the greater Midlands region.
