Listen to this articleThe Columbia Chamber of Commerce is now accepting applications for the Midlands Minority Business Accelerator Class of 2023. The deadline for applications is 5 p.m. Sept. 22.
The MMBA is a program of the Columbia Chamber in partnership with the SC Minority Business Accelerator. The statewide business accelerator is an initiative formed by the Greenville, Charleston Metro and Columbia chambers.
Funded with a seed grant from Bank of America, the initiative is designed to advance economic inclusion across the state by helping to reduce the economic disparities that minority-owned businesses experience. It provides opportunities for economic growth and prosperity for high-potential minority-owned firms. MMBA is a major economic development of the Columbia Chamber designed to make minority businesses more competitive.
