Richland County and the City of Columbia will host a pair of open houses this month to answer questions about flood repair and the rebuilding permitting process.

Attendees will be able to learn whether their property is in a floodplain and will be able to pick up a permit application packet, determine property value and have any questions answered about the application process. No permits will be issued at the meetings.

The events are scheduled for Monday from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., and Nov. 23 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday’s meeting will be held at St. Andrews Park at 920 Beatty Road and the Nov. 23 session will take place in Richland County Council Chambers at 2020 Hampton St.
