Columbia architecture, engineering and design firm Stevens & Wilkinson will reveal an art exhibit at the Columbia Metropolitan Airport on Tuesday.
The exhibit, which will highlight Columbia and its growth, is the first at the airport for the company, according to a news release.
Stevens & Wilkinson has been involved with landmark projects in Columbia for more than 40 years, including the redevelopment of the Columbia Museum of Art and Boyd Plaza.
The firm, which also has offices in Atlanta, is celebrating its 100th anniversary. Then known as Burge & Stevens, it received its first major commission for Georgia Baptist Hospital in 1919, according to its website.
Stevens & Wilkinson’s Columbia office opened in 1978.
