Prakash Nagarkatti, vice president for research at the University of South Carolina, has been named a fellow of the Academy of Toxicological Sciences.

Nagarkatti is one of only 228 current academy fellows, who are selected for their exemplary record of professional accomplishment and evidence of peer recognition for competency and sound scientific judgment, according to a news release.
