Columbia College is offering several new options for flexible studies to accommodate evening program students.

Beginning in fall 2019, students enrolled in the evening program will be able to take courses in business administration, accounting, criminal justice and computer and information science on campus during the day, according to a news release.

Columbia College also is offering on-campus housing for women in the extended evening program and housing near campus for men in the evening program. The school said it hopes student living on or near campus will have an improved community experience and that students in various stages of life are encouraged to pursue degrees.

“Our goal has always been to make higher education work with our students’ lives,” said Carol Moore, president of Columbia College. “By offering daytime programs and convenient housing options, we’re able to give our students the flexibility to earn their degree on a timeline that works with their jobs, families and lives.”
