A statewide economic forecast will be presented at the 39th annual Economic Outlook Conference, set for Dec. 3 at the University of South Carolina’s Darla Moore School of Business.
The conference will take place from 11:30 a.m. until 4:30 p.m. at the Pastides Alumni Center at 900 Senate St. Guest speakers will address regional and national market trends, with an emphasis on the effect of tariffs on the S.C. economy.
Industry leaders will also discuss the role of national defense-related research in the development of regional knowledge clusters, or organizations which collaborate to increase effectiveness.
The conference is open to the public. The registration deadline is Nov. 28. The cost is $75 per person and includes lunch.
