The S.C. Governor’s School for Science & Mathematics is accepting applications for its programs through Feb. 1.

Applications are being accepted for the Hartsville school’s residential program as well as its virtual engineering programs. Accelerate and TEAM UP, which are each three-year programs, allow students in 10th through 12th grades to earn a year of college credits toward an engineering or STEM subject degree.

Applications are available online.

Residential applicants should be current S.C. residents and high school sophomores. Virtual program applications should be current S.C. residents, enrolled in ninth grade and attending school in one of GSSM’s participating partner districts.

Virtual programs include annual summer camps, Saturday labs and industry networking, according to a news release from GSSM.

Interested students have until Feb. 1 at 11:59 p.m. to apply.
