Richland Library to allow pickup of held materials

Listen to this articleRichland Library is resuming limited services and will allow pickup of materials being held for patrons.
Library staff is beginning to process the holds of more than 2,000 patrons, according to a news release. Once it is verified that holds are still wanted, a pickup location will be confirmed.
Pickups will be available at four branches: Ballentine (1200 Dutch Fork Road); Northeast (7490 Parklane Road); Sandhills (763 Fashion Drive); and St. Andrews (2916 Broad River Road).
The library is also implementing safety protocols including requiring staff to wear face coverings and quarantining materials for 72 hours before recirculating them.
All 13 branches remained closed. More information is available online at richlandlibrary.com.
