Mayor’s Fellows begin spring semester

Ten new students have been accepted into the Mayor’s Fellows program for the spring semester. The program gives undergraduate and graduate-level students a chance to see how local government operates.

The Fellows work in various areas of the Mayor’s office and provide help for the staff. To date, the program has had more than 250 students participate.

Spring fellows include:

  • USC senior Bianca Budhai, majoring in political science and minoring in business administration.
  • USC senior Deondra Hemphill, majoring in political science.
  • USC sophomore Will Lewis, studying both political science and Islamic world studies.
  • Benedict College senior Keyeria Manuel, majoring in criminal justice.
  • USC senior DeAndrea Martin studying political science.
  • USC junior Aidan McGreevy, pursuing a dual degree in public relations and political science.
  • USC sophomore Megan Mellerson, studying public relations.
  • USC sophomore Jade Morton, dual majoring in political science and business economics.
  • USC senior Miranda Richardson, majoring in political science.
  • USC senior La’Darise Williams, studying political science.

The fellowship caters to students seeking course credit or wishing to gain public service experience.
