New family medicine practice to open in Forest Acres

Listen to this articlePalmetto Health-USC Medical Group and the Palmetto Health-USC Department of Family Medicine are opening a new family medicine practice in Forest Acres on Tuesday.
Palmetto Health-USC Family Medicine, located at 3600 Forest Drive, Suite 300, will house three primary care providers by the end of the year, according to a news release. Namrata Shidaye is the first physician to join the practice.

Palmetto Health-USC Medical Group is a nonprofit company that brings together health care providers from Palmetto Health and the University of South Carolina School of Medicine. The organization has more than 600 providers in nearly 90 practices in the Midlands.
