Home health care provider opening Lancaster franchise

Listen to this articleNational non-medical home health care provider FirstLight Home Care, which has an office in West Columbia, is opening a new location in Lancaster in 2019.
FirstLight serves seniors, adults with disabilities, new mothers, people recovering from surgery and other adults in need of assistance. Caregivers help with needs ranging from personal hygiene to household duties.
“The culture of aging has changed drastically throughout recent decades,” Jeff Bevis, FirstLight Home Care co-founder and CEO, said in a news release. “More adults are making the choice to stay at home as they age, which makes FirstLight’s services more important than ever before. We're there to help them every step of the way, and that's something that will be of great benefit to the Lancaster community.”
FirstLight opened its first franchise location in 2010 and now has more than 250 locations, 4,700 caregivers and 4,800 clients in 34 states.
