The pharmacy also offers over-the-counter products such as CBD, herbal supplements and vitamins.

Bill Kennedy, Nephron’s chief business development officer, is a pharmacist, and the in-house pharmacy was a vision he shared with Nephron CEO Lou Kennedy.

“A team of the best pharmacy professionals in the Midlands will be on hand every day at the pharmacy to give Nephron employees the very best counseling regarding medications and treatment right here at one of South Carolina’s fastest-growing businesses,” Bill Kennedy said in the release.

Pharmacists will also be on hand to provide vaccines, and health and wellness coaches will dispense advice on nutrition, exercise, and smoking cessation.

“Nephron is a family,” Lou Kennedy said. “There is no better way to take care of our family than to help them keep more of the money they earn and to make sure they have access to the very best health care and medications available.”
