Historic Columbia will be filled with the holiday spirit this weekend.
The foundation’s annual carriage rides through the Robert Mills historic district begin tonight at 5:30, while its annual Breakfast with Santa event will be held Saturday.
The carriage rides, which run until 8:30 p.m., are part of candlelight tours of the Robert Mills House and the Hampton-Preston Mansion, which start at 6 p.m. The houses are decorated for the holidays and will feature musical entertainment and children’s activities.
The tours are $12 for adults, $8 for youth and free for Historic Columbia members. Carriage rides are $8 per person.
The breakfast with Victorian Santa will be held at the Robert Mills Carriage House at 1616 Blanding St. Guests can have pictures taken with Santa and participate in a holiday craft-making activity.
The breakfast is $18 for adult non-members, $9 for youth non-members, $15 for adult members and $7 for youth members. Children under age 3 are admitted free.
Breakfast will be served at 8 a.m., 9 a.m. and 10 a.m. Reservations are required.
The Robert Mills gift shop will feature a storewide sale throughout the day.
