Soiree at State to swing into Cayce next month

Listen to this articleThe Soiree on State, the city of Cayce’s annual spring festival, is returning on April 23.
The city has partnered with the Avenues Neighborhood Association to combine this year’s event with the Cayce Festival of the Arts. Musical artists including bassist Sam Edwards and local favorite Tokyo Joe will perform throughout the festival, which will take place from 2 p.m. until 8 p.m. on State Street between Poplar Avenue and Railroad Street.
Food and craft vendors will be interspersed with face painting stations, a balloon artist and a free kid’s area with inflatable bouncers.
Food and community vendor applications are currently being accepted, with fees as follows: $75 for food vendors, $50 for artists and craft vendors, and $25 for authors. To apply, contact Amanda Rowan at arowan@caycesc.gov.
