SC Launch invests $200,000 in Cliently

Cliently, a Myrtle Beach-based lead generation and retention platform, has received a $200,000 investment from SC Launch. SCRA accepted Cliently into its entrepreneurial program last July.

Cliently creates personalized content, such as email, video messages, branded merchandise and phone calls, to contact potential prospects. The company received a $50,000 acceleration grant from SCRA last September.

“We are extremely excited to continue the partnership with SCRA,” Spencer Farber, Cliently founder and CEO, said in a news release. “With their resources and the SC Launch funding, we will be able to further enhance our clients’ ability to increase engagement with their leads and prospects.”

SCRA is a state-chartered organization that promotes innovation and job creation. Its entrepreneurial program provides mentoring and grants to early-stage S.C. companies in the advanced materials and manufacturing, information technology and life sciences industries.

“We look forward to the continued growth of Cliently and their impact in the Myrtle Beach area and beyond,” said Jill Sorensen, SCRA director of entrepreneurial programs. “The team’s innovative technologies are changing the marketplace.”
