Two Upstate companies and one Lowcountry business also joined SC Launch. CannuLucent, located in Greenville, is developing a line of dialysis training simulators and was also approved for a $25,000 demonstration grant from SCRA.

Greenville-based Zylo Therapeutics has developed a sustained-release delivery system that uses patented technology to topically administer nitric oxide and other hard-to-deliver drugs.

Vizbii Technologies, based in Charleston, has created a patented method to capture human reactions to stimuli called Morphil. Users can self-report emotions and physical sensations using digital images, which will allow companies to measure customer, employee and patient experiences.
