Website to provide platform for state startups

Listen to this articleA new website launched by the S.C. Department of Commerce will provide a common platform for individuals and businesses to connect and explore startup resources statewide.
Scribble will allow users to create a profile to save content and provide access to company videos, features, podcasts, blogs and events, according to a news release. Users can connect with startup programs, venture capital and other resources across the state.
“South Carolina’s burgeoning innovation sector has come a long way, and this new, state-of-the-art platform will ensure that entrepreneurs have all they need to thrive," Secretary of Commerce Bobby Hitt said in the release. “Inspired by our human nature to document or write down that ‘ah-ha’ moment, we're excited to celebrate our innovators through Scribble.”
Scribble was launched at the 2019 Dig South Tech Summit in Charleston.
