Fab Fours Inc. is expanding its Lancaster County operations with a $5.7 million capital investment expected to create 88 jobs.
The steel bumper and accessory manufacturer will undergo a large-scale expansion and install new equipment at its facility at 2213 Industrial Park Rd. in Lancaster. Hiring has begun for the new positions.
“The expansion is in direct correlation to the tremendous growth that Fab Fours has experienced in recent years, as well as the growth trajectory that the company continues to be on,” Fab Fours CEO Greg Higgs said in a news release. “The expansion will benefit Fab Fours by allowing for more efficiency within the factory, all while focusing on continued growth. All the improvements to our facility and additional staffing will enable us to continue meeting and exceeding our customer's expectations.”
The S.C. Coordinating Council for Economic Development approved project-related job development credits.
“Lancaster County couldn't be more excited that Fab Fours will significantly expand their Lancaster County operations with many new jobs and a major investment in the facility,” Lancaster County Council chairman Steve Harper said. “Manufacturing has been the backbone of the county's economy, and the Fab Fours expansion will further strengthen the sector.”
