Electronics manufacturing services provider invests $7.6M in York County

Listen to this articleElectronics manufacturing services provider Quality Electronic Manufacturing Services Inc. is investing $7.6 million in new operations in York County expected to create 110 jobs.
The minority-owned company, established in 2002, provides complete assembly of electronics products including design, inspection and testing services.
“This will be the start of a new chapter in our company’s history,” QEMS Inc. executive vice president Hannah Pham said in a news release. “This is a wonderful opportunity for significant, sustainable growth. We attribute much of our growth to the diversity of our customers in terms of their product applications. No matter what industry they are in, quality is the name of the game. Our specialty is helping our customers get their product designs to market quickly and cost-competitively.”
The new 110,000-square-foot facility, located at 200 Interconnect Drive in Rock Hill, began operations in August. Hiring is underway. Interested applicants can visit www.qemsinc.com.
