SCBIO will play host to a life sciences informational program on Feb. 20 at the University of South Carolina Alumni Center.

The program, which will begin at 8:30 a.m. and end at 4:30 p.m., will include presentations from noted industry leaders about statewide opportunities, trends and issues in the life sciences.  

Confirmed presenters include SCBIO president and CEO Sam Konduros, Maureen Thomas of the National Institute on Aging, Nexsen Pruet partner Tushar Chikhilker and K&L Gates partner Erica Jackson.

SCBIO investor organizations receive one free registration, and additional investor organization attendees pay $50. Individual SCBIO members also pay $50, while registration for non-members in $125.

SCBIO is a public/private economic development organization focused on advancing the state’s life sciences industry, which includes health care, environmental and agricultural sectors.  The nonprofit has offices in Columbia, Greenville and Charleston.
