Annual USC yard sale set for Saturday

The University of South Carolina’s annual Give It Up for Good community yard sale will be held Saturday.

The yard sale, which benefits Habitat for Humanity, will take place from 7 a.m. until noon at 483 Sunset Blvd. in West Columbia. USC students donate items they no longer need, such as small refrigerators, microwaves, futons, lamps and clothing.

The 2018 yard sale collected more than 22 tons of materials and raised more than $13,000 for Habitat for Humanity, according to the university.

USC faculty, staff and students will get a preview of this year’s offerings on Friday from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m.
