Nonprofit accepting scholarship applications

Listen to this articleApplications are being accepted for more than $500,000 in scholarship money available through the Central Carolina Community Foundation.
Students applying for the 2020-2021 school year have until March 5 to submit applications for more than 190 higher education scholarship opportunities. Students can apply for multiple scholarships by completing the online application.
Applicants are automatically matched with scholarships for which they qualify, according to a news release. Each scholarship has its own specific eligibility criteria and purpose based on recommendations from the donor who contributed to the scholarship.
Since 1998, the foundation has awarded more than $2 million in scholarships.
CCCF is a nonprofit organization that serves 11 counties in the Midlands by distributing grants and scholarships.
