Bin Wilcenski has been named the new CEO of the Building Industry Association of Central South Carolina by the organization’s board of directors.
Wilcenski began his career at the association in 1999 as director of membership and staff liaison to the Remodelers Council, according to a news release. As his role grew over the years he took on more responsibilities and was named COO of the organization. He was named Interim CEO in August of 2022, according to the release.
“It is a great honor to fill the position of CEO of this association,” Wilcenski said in the release. “I’m excited to use my years of experience and relationships coupled with the strength and knowledge of our membership to keep housing and the business of building a top priority.”
Wilcenski will oversee the day to day operations of the association and work with the board of directors and members to further the association’s mission to promote and protect the construction and housing industry in central South Carolina.
Wilcenski holds a bachelor’s degree in journalism from the University of South Carolina. He now lives in Irmo with his wife Laura and their two daughters.
