Greenville-based RealOp Investments, a real estate private equity firm, has acquired Stephenson Center Office Park, a three-building, 105,000-square-foot office property in Columbia.
The property at 720 Gracern Road is about five minutes from downtown near the interchange of Interstates 20 and 26 in the St. Andrews submarket. The firm announced in press release that it paid $7.75 million for the office park.
The office park is the company’s fifth acquisition in Columbia in approximately 36 months, the release added.
“The purchase of Stephenson Park is directly in line with our acquisition strategy across the Southeast,” said Paul Sparks, managing principal and president. “It also demonstrates our confidence in the market, increasing our Columbia portfolio to nearly 300,000 square feet in five properties.”
The company said Henry Roe, of Colliers International South Carolina, is in charge of leasing the property.
