The S.C. Department of Juvenile Justice will be relocating its offices to Synergy Executive Park in a full-building lease facilitated by Colliers International.

Henry Roe and Allen Wilkerson represented the landlord in the transaction totaling 49,550 square feet of office space at 121 Executive Center Drive in Seven Oaks near the intersection of Interstate 20 and I-26. The juvenile justice department has previously been located in multiple office buildings in northwest Richland County.

“The Department of Juvenile Justice believes the size and location of the offices at Synergy Executive Park will be more efficient for department oversight,” Roe said in a news release.

Law firm relocating downtown

Law firm Holder, Padgett, Littlejohn & Prickett has leased 3,151 square feet of office space at 1201 Main St. The firm is relocating from 4500 Fort Jackson Blvd.

NAI Avant broker Peyton Bryant represented the law firm in the transaction.

“We are very pleased to be relocating our Columbia office to the downtown area,” Columbia office managing partner Barnett Burley said.  “The continued development and growth of Main Street has been inspiring, and our firm is excited to be a part of it.”
