Downtown may soon get new Holiday Inn

Lexington Hospitality LLC purchased a 42,000-square-foot, 10-story building at 1233 Washington St. from ROIF Washington LLC. NAI Avant director of retail services Patrick Palmer represented the buyer in the $1.95 million transaction.
The hotel is expected to be completed by fall 2019, NAI Avant said in a news release.
Colliers International’s Henry Roe and Allen Wilkerson represented the seller, Greenville-based commercial real estate firm RealOp Investments, in the transaction.
In other area transactions, Palmer represented landlord KIMIJO Properties LLC in the lease of 7,500 square feet of space at 4107 West Beltline Blvd. Your Professional Image School of Barbering will join tenants Roses, Doller General, Citi Trends and U.S. Wings & Deli in the 97,888-square-foot Edens Plaza shopping center.
