NAI Avant has closed a pair of land sales in Lexington, including the site of a planned new residential neighborhood.

Senior broker Gerald Steele represented the seller, Eleanor Wilson, in a transaction involving 24.13 acres located on Cannon Trail Road. LandTech Holdings LLC purchased the property for $340,000.

Kevin Steelman, LandTech president and CEO, said Monday the property will be used for a single-family residential neighborhood called Cannon Springs. The finished neighborhood will have approximately 100 houses.

"We're very excited about the project and plan to break ground later this month," Steelman said.

After the groundbreaking, Steelman said the property will enter the first phase of infrastructure construction, and the first completed homes should be ready by the first quarter of 2019. The total project is expected to be completed in close to three years.

McGuinn has been hired as the builder for the project.
