Pool building company coming to Lexington

Listen to this articlePete Alewine Pool and Spa, a Georgia-based pool building company with locations in Aiken, is expanding into Lexington.
The company purchased a 6,500-square-foot retail building at 5541 Sunset Blvd. for $1.25 million from Grand Investments LP. NAI Avant senior broker Ben Kelly represented the seller in the transaction.
Pete Alewine, based in Evans, Ga., opened in 1998 and has locations in Georgia as well as in North Augusta, Edgefield and McCormick, among other S.C. towns.
In other area transactions, Colliers International brokers Chuck Salley, Dave Mathews and Thomas Beard represented the landlord in the lease of 1149 Walter Price St. in Cayce to 1-800-Packouts, a national content restoration franchise company.
