A new Goodwill Industries store is planned for 4.43 acres of land in Chapin which recently sold for $825,000.
The undeveloped land on Columbia Avenue is located near the Interstate 26 and Chapin Road interchange. NAI Columbia’s Tombo Milliken and Tom Milliken represented the seller.
“The addition of this new Goodwill Industries store will help to bring additional jobs to the area and provide a positive economic impact,” Tombo Milliken, senior broker and principal, said in a news release. “The involvement of Goodwill Industries in the communities it serves show what good stewards it is, and we are proud to have been a small part in this deal.”
NAI Columbia’s Ben Kelly, Patrick Chambers and Jack Springs represented seller Palmetto Pro Properties LLC in the sale of a 105,000-square-foot manufacturing plant at 135 East Columbia Ave. in Batesburg-Leesville.
EBA Service Group is relocating from Fairfield County to the 100,000-square-foot warehouse with 5,000 square feet of office space situated on 5.36 acres of land. The redeveloped property includes an AutoZone and Kentucky Fried Chicken and Zaxby’s restaurants.
